Welcome to the Child Care Health Consultation Program in Island County, Washington.
Child Care Health Consultation staff provides consultation, information, and materials on health and safety issues to family home and center child care sites serving infants and toddlers. Consultation, information, and materials have as their basis best practices in health, safety, and child development.
Program responsibilities include the following:

To build better communication and relationships between providers and families.

Address child care providers’ concerns regarding the behavior, health, and development of the children in their care.
